Below are the installation instructions included with the kit:

Step 1: Remove the 4 bolts holding each saddle bag in place.
Step 2: Use 1/4 drill bit to drill out the threads from the bag mounting points. Use care to drill as straight a hole as possible.
Step 3: Set the bag back in posiition on the bike and insert each pin through the mounting hole while depressing the release button.
Step 4: After installing each pin it's a good idea to try to pull the pin out WITHOUT depressing the release button. This will insure a positive lock on each pin.
Step 5: Enjoy

I seem to remember the kit being about $200, but the pins are about $15 each-so about $120 all together.
