Did I really order a New Petcock on Ebay today for only $25?

Or was it just the cover set? The picture was of the entire petcock assembly and this was the verbiage...

***HONDA VALKYRIE GL1500 C 1997-2003 REPLACEMENT GAS FUEL PETCOCK VALVE PC-137 ***

I guess we'll know for sure when it arrive hopefully in a week.

Any thoughts...???

Yep! My thoughts exactly, cheap chinese crap! I wouldn't be touching one with a 20 ft pole.

Yeah, if it's not an OEM Honda part..beware. I got one off amazon (OEM "style") just for kicks and it's crap.

Could be used in a pinch methinks...but it has significant differences (reserve tube being one). A stock cover set would not work on it either.

If you decide to use it, take it apart first. Mine was full of blasting/tumbling/casting sand...a seriously bad thing for carbs.

Thanks Daniel,

I'm thinking I'm not going to risk it. I will just order a couple of cover sets and return it when it arrives.

Ed, get the OEM cover sets.  I have not had good luck with the K&L sets.  They don't last as long and don't come with all the parts.
