I am so disappointed, you have tried this format in the past and every one agreed it was not cool.

Too bad after all these years. I acknowledge the hard work and efforts by Scott, but this form does not work for me. I do not use this format on other boards, I won't use it here.

Guess I will check for classifiieds, other wise. ride safe.

I'm glad to see we have an independent thinker on the board.  Most every board I frequent does have this format.  I did not like it at first but it grows on you.  If you choose to stay away, so be it but, we wish you would stay.  We need diversity.

Hate to see you go but....many of us have wanted this to get rid of the spam.

If you know how to do the other board without the spam I am sure Scott would love to hear.

There are some things about the old board that I'll miss.

Mostly I think that it was easier to see what messages that you had seen and which ones that you hadn't.

Also I've noticed that posts with PICS load slower here (at least for those of us using dial-up).

But, I understand why the change needed to be made and I understand why it was a Non-Vote issue.

The new format is greatly different and requires somewhat of a learning curve, but that's not a reason to abandon the "club".

I hope that you hang around and "LEARN" with the rest of us.

I am 100% sure all Staff are fed up with spammer and they have to monitor all fourm and remove everyday or every time they spam in every VRCC forum boards (not just one like general board its everywhere in vrcc forums)...

Also we should not complain at all bec its FREE... You should be glad its free. I sometimes would like to say something in Goldwing forum? but you have to pay for membership to post em...

Also we learn something new everyday so why not learn something new...

If you got problem with your computer (unable to acess or read new forum) then ask scott in Ok or someone else, I'm sure they will be glad to help ya!

I guess we are all the same. The human being doesn't like that things change. Since the look of the new board is so different from the old one, it's a big change. I think that getting rid of the spam is worth the effort to learn to work with this new board. Hats off to the staff for making possible for all of us to use such a geat tool as this board... and for free!

I'm an industrial tech and have no problem with change. I learn new technology almost daily and enjoy the learning. I'm also very thankful to the "powers that be" for volunteering their time to keep this board running for us. Dealing with the spam must have been a PIA for them. However it was much easier/quicker to navigate the old board. All posts were on the same page. Now it requires scrolling though many pages to do the same thing. To go back to a post you have to remember what page it was on and that page changes as new posts are added. Also it seem that read posts are no longer identified.

If I surfed from work on someone else’s time it would not be so much of an issue. But instead I surf from home on dial-up and the effect of the new board for me is that I am going to read fewer posts or sit here longer to read the same amount of posts. I am sure that as I become more accustomed to the new layout I will get faster dealing with it but I don’t see it ever being as efficient as the old board due to the design.

And by the way, my appliance and electronics clocks only flash after a power failure and if they were damaged by the power failure I could probably repair them.
