I've seen some pics of a custom painted white BMW RT with metallic blue trim, I was thinking your bike may look good leaving the air filter shrouds blue??  Picture Dat! Did you remove the body yourself or is the shop doing that?

I have thought of that  ,  from a distace ,  no one can see it much , detalis like that , so , why pay the extra money .

They are doing the R&R  ,  
 thinking of pearl  white  , just don't want too much white  , no paper white or bright white .

Also , thinking of  buying a police type top box  ( I have always wanted to be a policeman ) NOT !

Really , I am  thinking of the police box , for attention from drivers

lucky you with the new paint job! I think the mounting brackets weighed more than the bags. and the bags are oh so beautiful. Tell us the plan for your paint!

I was thinking your air shrouds are already blue....

Google Viking bags, Dragonslayer has a thread going about them, he did soft bags but go to their web site, real nice leather covered hard bags, nice quality, $399 is highest price but would be best if you bought OEM mounts, they just work well and you can mount any bag with flat mount surface.
