Today seems to be my day for posting. Could use some guidance on an issue I am having.

So after giving it a bath today I notice the rear brake like stays on and the front right turn signal is on solid.

Here's what I have done so far:
1- Disconnected the front bake switch, removed both connectors -- no change
2- Disassembled the rear fender, inspected wires -- don't see any damage or chaffing. Front turn signal still on solid with rear lights disconnected.

What I'm thinking of doing next:
3- Disconnect rear brake pedal switch. It "looks" like it has normal travel, that is to say the plunger is retracting all the way into the housing when the pedal is released.

What I'm going to do after I do the above next things:
4- Retire to the air conditioning and pop open a cold one.
5- Wait and hope the smart guys on this board can help me out.

Thanks,
Dan

since the two have nothing in common , I would look for a bad ground ( wet connection )
Use your yard blower to blow off the bike real good...

Yup, sounds like some electrical stuff got a bath as well.

Appreciate the feedback, blower didn't work. Bike has been dry as a bone all afternoon. I got a friend coming over tomorrow with a probe (his term not mine).

Heading for the pool with a brew, no mas!

Will post when we find the little gremlin.

Ok so after further testing it appears that I had two bulbs partially go down at once. The Brake light filament (low intensity was good) and the blinker running light went out. Yes it did blink just not on steady. The bulb I thought was bad was actually working correctly.  I swapped front bulbs and finally figured it out. Needles to say I changed them all.

Good to go.
