Couldn't leave Ky out of the biggest east-coast ride of the year. I plan on hooking up in Knoxville via I 24 East out of Hopkinsville Ky, and I 40 East out of Nashville. Now I need to make my reservations and then find the extra funds to make it all happen!

Not much of a shutterbug, that picture was taken in 2004 at Daytona Bike Week. Bike and I both have changed a little since then. The supertank is gone and have added bag rails plus a few other trinkets.

I got the idea years ago from Kingbee but when I took it to the painter he suggested a single scallop so I agreed.

Thanks,  John

I am not that far along in my planning but that sounds good to me. As time draws nearer we can firm up a place to meet as I'd enjoy to ride over to Knoxville with you. Could be costly for me though, I'm already itching for an Interstate and yours will just make me scratch more. Wink

Just a suggestion but exit 238 has a nice Pilot Travel Center on the east bound side ( easy off , easy on ) .It's the Lebanon exit 238 @ I-40 / Hwy.231 about 25 miles east on Crashville..I mean Nashville  Smiley

Howdy back at you, It seems there are a lot of Valkyries in this general area but never together in a group. I have nothing against other makes but I do enjoy seeing and riding with other Valkyrie owners.

I just checked mapquest and Cumberland Furnace is only about 45 miles from Hopkinsville. I've been thru there a couple of times on the way to Dickson but never on a bike.

I lived it Hoptown for about 18 yrs (1980-1998). I believe you know Steve  Chaffin. I've been trying to get him back on a Valk. Most people in the Hopkinsville area know me as Mac McCain.

Yea, I met you once at a small car/bike show, I believe it was at the Pennyrile Mall parking lot.  Steve is still bikeless but looking for that elusive killer deal on a Valkyrie. So if you know of any Valkyries you can buy for a couple grand under market, ride for a couple of years, then sell for more than you gave for it be sure to give Steve a call Wink. You never know he may have a bike by then and come along with us.

Yep! That's the Steve I'm talking about. Grin    Yes I recall that show. Hope it works out for you to make the Blue&Gray Ride.
