I started a new job on 7/07/2016 at Zampell in Newburyport Ma. My wife Ann and I live 2 miles from  Plum Island It is a  great  area for riding and N.H. is only 10 miles away ( NO HELMET LAW)  We left on short notice and did not get a chance to say goodbuy to everyone. See you all on the rebound, what a great group of people the Florida chapter has. My wife is on facebook posting pictures, now and then. I will be wacthing you guys, ride safe.Greg 2250 miles in 6 days to your new house in N.C. was my best vacation ever, call me any time and or visit us. We have a spare room if any one wants to stop buy. My phone is 727-992-3163 (Bob and Ann Rankin) Thanks!!!

Very sorry to hear that you won't be joining us on any rides in the near future. I will, however be looking forward to pix of the rides through the White Mountains. The ride up the Auto Road to the summit of Mount Washington is well worth the trip, but the round trip from Newburyport would be at least 2 days. When I rode it ('71 or '72) the round trip from Weirs Beach to the summit and back to Weirs Beach took about 6 hours. Oh, you might want to watch the weather closely. The summit only has about 65 clear days out of the year. I have been lucky enough that my 1st trip, on my '69 Triumph, was clear as a bell, and the 3rd trip I made was in a small airplane, and it was clear that day, also. These trips were about 10 years apart.

Damn! Another person I won't get to meet! I was hoping for the chance to meet more folks down in ol' Southy Florida in October when I come for a visit.

Enjoy the ups north! I'm jealous of you because you will get to have cold days. I miss cold days.

Hey Bob

Great to hear from you and glad you got the job.  cooldude

Your hears must have been ringing today because your name came up during bkfst (don't worry, all good stuff  Grin).
I was telling the story about how you were the only crazy dude wearing shorts and T-shirt at the BRP Highest Point and how people came over to you asking "Where are you from?" Grin
Also told them about our spirited ride via Monshiner's 28 and about how happy you were when we crossed over to Florida and you were able to take your helmet off  Grin

Hope we get to ride again in the future, enjoy the nice riding weather up north and don't be a stranger
