For all the West Coast/Panhandle folks:
Looks like you guys are getting loads of rain and wind. Hope ya'll get through OK and damage is slight.

Stay safe!

Bad news, it is a class 1 hurricane now. Could pack 120 mph winds. You folks in the Panhandle, stay safe.

Yep, I've got family in Panama City, Tallahassee and S. GA track.  Shocked  Most of us west of PC will only get mostly rain. But we've had plenty of that in Aug. Hopefully it will die down and move out fast, thx Bob
Beautiful area thru there as Pappy just made that ride. I pray for safety for the people.  angel

We came through with no property damage, or injuries. Lots of rain, but the winds weren't all that bad, and we never lost power. Most of the local damage (Homosassa and Crystal River) was West of US 19, and that was mostly Water damage from the Storm Surge, combined with High Tides that happened twice during the storm's slow passage. We had the usual number of dead limbs and Palm Fronds down on the lawn, and one live limb that I will have to take the Chain Saw to on the back lawn. East of us, in Inverness, there were a few uprooted trees on Gospel Island, but I am not aware of any VRCC members that live in that area. About 10,000 Citrus County residents lost power for up to 24 hours, but it could have been a lot worse.
