I bought a pair of new cam shaft cover to replace my ugly old ones. Looks like an easy replacement just 2 bolts. I did notice there is a gasket behind the cover. Is there anything more to it than than the 2 bolts?

Simple operation to do yourself. Just take out the two bolts and pull them off. You should be able to re-use the gasket.

When replacing the bolts, don't over torque them.

Ok Thanks!  cooldude With that gasket I was worried oil might run out after removing the cover.

From what I could see, the gasket is more for keeping water out than keeping oil in; there was no oil inside my covers, at all.
