We're up on beech mountain NC with two friends and wife's, rented a ski lodge at the top of this sucker and what a ride coming up ( and down) you almost meet yourself, beautiful riding weather in the sixtys in the morning when we left and low seventy when we got Back,had to trail them here from fl wife has tailbone issues and couldn't ride that far, Did have one issue, forgot to turn gas off when we left! Had a little problem getting is started not good, Lord willing will be back in a week, take care guys!

Wish I could post pictures! Getting some great ones but iam not tecky enough to post them! Hopefully I can get help to figure it out, I want to tell you this road coming up this friggen mountain to our lodge is like some of the curves are so sharp and steep I have the big girl in low with the wife on the back, it's like holly crap and the wiffie squeezing me, we're between 4500 and 5000 feet up but beautiful view from the top!

Wow, your about as high up as you could get. I bet it is a great view looking out. I can only imagine what it'd be like especially wife the wife on the back taking those hard turns, Yikes!  Shocked

I know exactly what u mean. My buddy Mike has a big ole cabin in the Mountains in Bryson City NC. Me and Pappy stayed there, and it was all very steep switch backs to get up to his place. He is only at 3000 feet so I can imagine.  cooldude

Well the old girl took the wife and I to the top of MT Mitchell today while we were riding the blue ridge the highest point east of the Mississippi 6578 ft and wow what a view from the top! I'll be sending you pictures Jerry as soon as I get enough wi fi service to do so, we'll be heading Bach to the flat lands 3am fri morning.
