Has anyone found a replacement for these reflectors?? I used cheap two sided tape instead of a good product like the 3M and lost one....  I just can't bring myself to pay nearly $20 for one.

I purchased a set of two from Walmart for $1.80 a set.
They are the same length. However, they are almost 1/8" wider.
I do not find the extra width to be a problem. They have been on the bike for more than a year and still look great. Smiley
Recently, when my wife was shopping, I purchased two more sets just to have as spares. They are still $1.80 a set which is a big difference from the OEM reflectors from the dealer. Plus, Wally World also offers them in red if you so desire. I stayed with the yellow/amber.  cooldude

Thanks brother,,  I'll certainly take a look at my local stores around here,,,, I take it you found them in the automotive section..??  I searched online and could not find anything close in size. I was going to try some truck stops.

If I can't come up with any, I may have to hit you up for a pair Grin Grin

There they were,, $1.82 for a set of two with two pieces of two sided mounting tape. I cut the tape so it fit inside the reflector for a cleaner look and mounted it up, it still left enough of a gap to get a piece if fishing line in there for future removal. Bit of a different fit because of the width, but looks great and the price is right.

Thanks again Gideon,       good information

Hey flash,, is there enough clearance behind the radiator covers for the stud, nut and wires, or did you have to modify something?

Glad you found the reflectors and they worked out to your liking.

I too would like to hear how Flash mounted the lights.

What I did was, cut the stud off the back of reflector and stuck the reflectors with two way tape. I drill a hole in the chrome part of the rad ( take it off so you don't drill the rad ) just were the wires come out of the reflector. I used heat shrink on the wires, pass the wire true the hole I screwed the chrome part back in place and pull the wires true and stick the light in place. In the back I left the studs on, pull the reflector off and screw the new one on and run the wires. Whit these lights you have parking and flasher or brake. There was two reflectors on the back on each side of the tail light, I change those one's to so now, they are park and brake and the one's on the side work as park and flasher.

Hmmm,, thanks man,, I had looked at similar ones, but never considered them for the radiator covers,, these at 35 x 90 mm are right in the ballpark to fit in that area....  good idea!

I would like to mount a set on the rear of the Jumbo Strong bags, but they don't have a flat area and I need to fab up a mounting/adapter plate to make them fit right...    priorities

At least now I know that they can be used on the bike as is, so I think I am going to get a set to mess with.

Hey Flash,,, good idea. I got a set of them to replace out the reflectors,,,  I like them.  Like you said,, with the mounting stud cut off, they fit the area just fine.

Pancho, glad it works for you, I did install red ones on my saddle bags as parking and flasher.

I would think red on the radiator would be illegal.  Probably never get stopped for it.  Red is limited to the rearmost of a vehicle. Yellow/orange for front and sides.

I know, fingers crossed. I don't ride at night.
