ken that is a very good idea, but as joop said it seems that it would blind you at night
i have the 2-B-Seen lights and in the daytime i can barely see them, but they are extremely noticable to other drivers even on very sunny days, much more than stock turn signal lights so it adds to the danger, and i have forgot to cancel it several time
i have ridden one with a blinker buddy but sitting at stop lights it gets annoying then i just turn it off, and then forget before to turn it back on before turning

The price is 50 euro. That's about 75 dollar. The shipping cost is about 12 dollar. But tell me if it's to expensive. I forgot to mention that it has an output to connect a blikerbuddy or something like that. So it will only vibrate if you drive faster than 15m/h and you forgot your blinker for more than 30 seconds. Joop...

it's not blinding at night for me....maybe your eyes would be more sensitive than mine, if it is for you, just take a strip of electrical tape and put over it at night....
inside the headlight bucket, i found two wires with female bullet connectors on them that happened to also be the left and right turn signal.....thats where i wired it in.

oh by the way......the picture wasn't taken from a sitting position on the seat, so the angle you see the light from the seat isn't directly looking into the end of the LED where it is the brightest

The most helpful advice I've heard, was on this board, "to cancel the turn signal just before the end of the turn", so that it becomes part of the turn. Think about where the best point for cancelling the signal is, and eventually it will become more automatic.
I have a signal buddy. It works at low speed, but believe it or not, at higher speeds it fades into the vibration from the motor. Yes it is a Valk My signal buddy is just stuffed between the seat shell and the foam on an Ultimate seat. I think that Ulmiate will install it for you when you buy the seat if you want. There's probably a better place to install (closer to the surface) than on my bike. I didn't want anything making noise like a busser. I like the signal buddy it does wake you up when you have forgotten "at low speed"
I still forget to cancel sometimes, but is rare.

I forget to turn them off also especially during the day, bought the Kissan did not like set up, i bought Blinker Buddy good people to work with. i have not forgotten to turn off since. You can buy stuff at radio shack to make buzzer and reminders but I'm electrically challenged, B B was easy.

If you don't want the noise over on the ST boards they came up with a devise which is a simple single LED light. In the Valkyries case it would be mounted on the triple tree in such a way it reflexs onto the windscreen at about eye level and flashes with the turn signal. On the interstate model it can be mounted on top of the dash area . Here is a link for more details. http://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32074&highlight=turn+signal+reminderTom

The turn signal cancel button will be the first thing to wear out on my bike. I've trained myself years ago (like tying your shoes) to make certain its off. Just going down the road my ritual is to push on the cancel button, and the choke lever, every so often just to make sure they're off/closed. Call me obsessive compulsive. That's okay. That's just the way it is with me. A sure fire way to get yourself hurt is to leave the turn signal on. Yrmv,

When I ordered my Ultimate seats, I also had them install one of their options called the 'Blinker Buddy'. When you have your directional on, the seat vibrates. There's no way you can forget that your signal is still on. lol
