I would find someone else but if you have to go back to him how about you show him this. It says street and some off road. Its a dual sport tire. I would wonder if this guy really knows anything he is talking about. maybe he is not the best to do the tire.

His issue is which the load capacity rating versus the stocker I would assume.

Actually I think this is the the second attempt to mount a tire from this guy. At first it was load rating then when he could not use that, now he doesn't want to mount a off road tire  2funny to the Valk.  crazy2 You would think that in France they would not be like this, they have enough motorcycles there.

QUOTE FROM PREVIOUS POST
I showed the dealer today the owner manual (which indicates 61 H) but even with a hand-written discharge he didn't accept, saying he wouldn't be comfortable to fix a trail tire on my bike. He accepted to mount a 60 V road tire but not a trail tire

No, it's the ancient world here  Grin, you don't sue as often as you guys do in the new world !  crazy2
The guy is simply narrow minded, road = road, trail = trail no matter what.

The good thing is that I had to find a shop to fix my tire and I found one : cheap, cool, professional (I saw him rub the inside of the rim to brush out the remains of the former tires).  Cool
He had to use a jack to lift the bike but he couldn't lift it high enough because of my center stand (?) so he deflated the back tire in order to lower the back and take the front tire out without taking off the fender. As a smart guy, he didn't forget to inflate the back tire before I leave  2funny
Btw, he scolded me  police becaused I didn't grease the bolts of the calipers when I changed the pads.   Grin

I install and balance my own tires. It's not very hard. I use a static balancer that is very accurate.
I have found that most motorcycle shops let there most inexperienced people do tire changes and have seen first hand mistakes that have been made. ( extra weights across from each other and tire rotation incorrect).
Look on utube and learn how  to do a better job than the shop does!!!!
