I have searched the site the best I know how but I can't find an answer to my question.  My Interstate headlight bezel is cracked.  Will I have to remove the fairing to replace the bezel or is there a better/easier way to replace it? Thanks for any advice you can throw my way.

Easy answer is, Yes.

Unless you have little child hands and long arms to go in through those inner fairings.

Fairing off, good access to the 6 or so screws that hold it in.

No, the fairing doesn't have to come off, pull off the speaker housings and there are four screws that hold the bezel on.   Takes about five to ten minutes with my big hands and normal arms.

How much room did you have? I couldn't even get in there to replace my head light bulb, my sister with the skinny hands/arms did it for me.

Removing the windshield garnish is easier than changing bulbs.

Yes it is but he was talking about the headlight ring not the windshield garnish.
I will Guarantee my hands won't go it there. And if they did I wouldn't be able to see one thing I was doing coolsmiley

Gang, I apologize.  I spoke too soon.  I pulled the speaker pods and was able to get my screw driver on all five screws holding the bezel on so I assumed I would be able to change it.  Well, I did get the screw driver on all the screws but I was not able to get enough pressure to turn them without buggering up the screw heads.  I will be pulling the fairing as soon as the good riding weather goes away.

Thanks again.  I appreciate all I read on this site.

If you access the screws behind the windshield garnish then you can rotate the whole fairing down to reveal the innards. The fairing pivots on the front turn signal assemblies.
