Good Morning,
New to using this,  We are spending the winter by Hemet California.  Am I on the right site?  Didn't know if I should be on the San Diego site.  Looking for information for a good place to get a new front tire for my Valkyrie trike.  Also a good place to synchronize the crabs. Thanks. Vern

You can contact Highland Cycle at the following web page.

Paul and Paul Jr. will be helpful for what you need. Tell them BigMac sent you.

I waited until I was pretty confident of the work before I posted a review of the work done by Highland cycle.  Friendly, helpful people.  On arrival Bigmac and the highland folk listened to my Valkyrie and announced that Syncing  the crabs would not help this poor beast.  ( I felt guilty knowing I had rode it from Minnesota the year before.)   We procured a rental car and left our baby with them.  I'm not a very trusting person so it was hard.  By the weekend the carbs had been rebuilt, a new front tire installed and a couple of other minor repairs that Jay had noticed.  When we arrived I was concerned it wasn't sitting outside.  Not to worry.  It was sitting in the showroom polished and cleaner than its been in a long time.  When we picked it up we were heading back to Hemet for a dinner and pushed it pretty hard.  Ruthie said "its got more power doesn't it?". Yes I said, I haven't stopped smiling since we pulled out of the shop.  Its been a couple of weeks as I wanted to be sure of the results.  There were a couple of little hiccups that Highland took care of right away.  The cold starting problem has been cured.  Gas mileage has improved dramatically.  We have rode to Temecula a few times.  We rode it across the Ortega highway to the ocean down to Oceanside and back to Hemet.  Since it is our only transportation for six months it gets ridden almost daily.   The power and throttle response is wonderful.  I'm surprised my gas mileage has improved with my constant twisting of the throttle.
Thanks Paul, Paul Jr, Jay and BigMac!

I found best prices for Metzelers (probably for other brands too) and no sales tax, from RockyMountainATV.com.

Your welcome,  Sorry I didn't know anyone else had replied.  I thought it was like the gold wing 1800 forum, it sends you an email when someone replies.
I was on here trying to figure out what to do for armrests when I seen I had some more replies.
Ride safe everyone , have a great year
