Utah - Glenn Canyon and Capitol Reef.     Great roads all over Utah/Colorado/New Mexico.    Thank you Butler Motorcycle maps for showing where to ride.   Gear is River Road Sissy Bar Bag Medium for gear.   Ogio Rock/Roll bag for clothes.   Kuryakyn Grand Tour Tank Bag.    Ogio Soft Saddle Bags (for camping gear - scratched the paint - not happy about that - never again).   Why i carried a gallon on gas (Rotopak) is beyond me.    Plenty of stations all over.

kcole683 those bags look great. I like how their lines match the radiator pods.

Looks like custom brackets? Any more pictures to share?

Thanks...

Thanks. So far I like the look.
The universal brackets came with the bags.
They look better on than off I'm afraid. Haha. I looked around a lot and this was the only option I could find that had a decent universal bracket kit.
Lockable, removable side cases and they kinda go with the style of the bike.
I haven't wired the lights yet.

This is the day I picked Beatrice up from the dealer.

This was our first outing, and where I determined I thought I needed a different seat, but really probably just needed rider pegs.

This is after I installed the windscreen. Put that on right after I decided I didn't want to wrestle a gorilla every-time I rode her on the highway. The other Valk is a buddy from work. He talked me into getting a Valk.

Here's a little curve that was near where I lived when I was living in Edgewood NM.

Here's a shot of her near a cliff face in the Jemez mountains. That ride took me from 4,500' to 11,000'. Great fun.

And another from that ride at an overlook.

Here's one of me and some of the other dudes in the North West Florida area. I think all of them are on the VRCC.

The next few are all from the Florida Panhandle area right after I moved here. Was playing tourist.

This last one is how she's set up today.

But nice to be able to simply pop them off and take them in a motel room!   cooldude

Those are great looking  bags. What model and year Honda did these come from? I did a search but could not find them. Hopefully I can find some in the metallic red. Does the mounting system remain solid when hitting bumps in the road?

Those are not Honda bags.  They are made by Mutazu.  They do look good on the valk though.  A little wide for my taste.  I had a set that wide and I almost tore them off a couple of times going around stuff.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction for the bags.  I saw the " Honda emblem " and made an assumption that these were made by Honda. They look  fantastic to me and I would like to b see a picture of them from the rear.

They are pretty deep bags 10" Or so.
It does make her a bit wide in the hips.
EBay honda wing stickers make them look almost official. Haha.

Yes, the emblems threw me off.  Good  choice on the styling they really look like factory saddlebags designed for the Valkyrie 1800. You had me "searching " at my local dealer .  I  found out from a member here  "Bscrive"  that the bags weren't from Honda. The mounting  brackets look solid. Any vibration when riding on rough roads. We don't  have the best roads here in south Louisiana. Thanks again let us know when you get the lights operating and also for the picture from the rear as requested.  "Honey, does my butt look BIG" ........

Wide hips they be, but if your gonna travel and like to bring things.  cooldude
IMO they look great, like factory oem. If and when you get the lights hooked up, even better!

Thanks for sharing the pics Kcole683...

As long as they don't get dragged off during extra spirited riding in the curves.  I think they'll clear when the pegs drag but have concerns if they drag too hard.
I think if I touch the front crash bars they may hit.  Probably more worried about serious injury at that point.
I need to lay her over on one side to be sure.

Brake lights only at the moment. Probably need a controller to make them stop/turn lights.
They are only single circuit lights.
Not really sure how to make them work as brake turn lights at this point.
