uglystupid2 Wow Burt....  Shocked. Well Pappy's right, the time of year will be right. I don't ride if it's above 95 outside sitting on a motor running at 200 degrees helps me with that choice!  coolsmiley

Ok, looks like it might be more difficult but not out of the question for Sherry to go, however I can get that time off.

If we were to Choose NC we would be able to hook up with Todd/Pennie - Bob/Michelle and maybe Rick/Christie.  A big plus.

On the western side option --- Rainbow Drive Resort in Mountian Home area has many different types of large one unit fits all accommodations because they generally get a lot of men Fishing.   And at the same time they have small cabins as well right on the river.   Just my opinion Keith as I know the areas well.  I would choose Mountian Home or Eureka Springs over Harrison.  Stopped there many times, meh.

Arkansas is not the vacation meca NC is so places to stay are not as numerous except Eureka Springs.
On the flip side the roads are empty.   cooldude

Pappy you started this. Maybe a vote and let the chips fall where they may??

I am willing to do either.

You asked for thoughts.  So just thoughts.

Do not visit Arkansas in July, I just about had heat stroke a couple times during Inzane there.

Well I'll get the vote started...... Wink So I can confirm my plans. I choose Arkansas, I've never been and don't know when/if I'll get that chance to get that way in the near future. So grasping my next trip and will be heading to the Ozarks! The dates remember are targeted for May 19 or 20 thru 29th. Neighbor Bill said he will ride to the Ozarks as well. That's 2 for AK......  coolsmiley

Am thinking Lesa and I may try Arkansas this year. Not 100% but leaning that way.
