I have a 2014 Valkyrie, approx. 4300 miles, I bought it new outta the box...I've never had 1 issue with this bike...Today I was at the end of a 220 mile ride, I was almost home, I was going approx. 45mph....Their are a few little bumps in the concrete and as I hit these little bumps, my hand would blip the throttle and in doing so, I'd hear a clunk from what I assume the transmission...I then blip the throttle a few times and I hear this clunk...I just may have never noticed this noise before and wonder if this is a normal sound/ function...The bike runs great, no other sounds, shifts great, down shifts great and accelerates great..A buddy of mine has the same bike, I'm gonna ride his tomorrow and see if his does the same thing, he said he's never noticed this clunk but was listening for it...My 2003 VTX 1800 would kind of make this as well and I never had an issue...I only hear this noise if I blip the throttle quickly, should I be worried and take it to the dealer of do others experience this and it's normal if one blips the throttle quickly... Undecided

I also have a 2014 and it does it as well.  Done it since new.  Sounds like play in the driveshaft/rearend.
It is a little annoying but I think it is normal.

If you could post a clip of it, that'd be helpful. I here mine hitting either end of the torque slop when I do that, but I believe that's the give in the gears I'm hearing. The only other clunk I get is when I downshift to neutral or first.

Thanks guys, it sounds like it may be a normal sound, what you both described does sound like it...I'm gonna ride my buddy's tomorrow morning just to ease my mind...I love this bike, it's pure pleasure to ride, such power and torque and I'm very happy with it...I'll post tomorrow what I hear on his 2014 Valk..

A while back I recorded some road time in New Mexico. In this video I downshift to check out a car pulled off to the side of the road. You can hear the downshift in the clip. Forward to the 13:30 mark, you can hear the braking and eventually me hitting second or neutral as I approach the car. The bike has done that since the day I bought it.

I thought it might have been someone in need and slowed to see if they were okay. It was a cold day, and pretty high altitude in the middle of nowhere. I've helped numerous people who are broke down and have no working phone to call for help.

As far as the downshift, you can hear it just as I approach the car.
