Actually, the song isn't Taps. It is called Il Silenzio (The Silence) written by Nini Rosso.
The girl who plays it in the clip does it wonderfully well. And it must be derived from Taps.
Below is the wikipedia info as well as another version of the song. (Same song, different artist)

While we are on the subject of Taps, I'll bet that there aren't many who know that there are words to the song.
There is no official version, but organizations like the Boy Scouts, and various branches of the Military have thier own versions.
They are all similar but with minor variations.
The one I am partial to is the Marine Corp Version.
It goes,
Day is done
Gone the sun
From the hills
From the lakes
From the Sky
All is well
Safely rest
God is nigh
Fading light
Dims the sight
And a star
Gems the night
Gleaning bright
From afar
Drawing nigh
Falls the night
Thanks and praise
For our Days
neath the Sun
neath the Stars
neath the Sky
As we go
This we know
God is Nigh
The reason this is my favorite version is that I have the privilege of being the Emcee for a Wreaths Across America Ceremony at the Iowa Veterans Home. The first year we did this and got to the part of the program where Taps was played, the Veteran who laid the wreath for the Coast Guard, a 93 year old WWII Coast Guard Vet, Dale Shankster, belted out the lyrics as the bugles played. Unscripted.
When Taps was over, it was hard to get back up to the podium. I thanked Dale for singing and I told everyone that there were words to Taps and Dale was singing them. Some didn't realize what they just heard.
Poor guy who was playing the bugle was crying afterward as he said, "no one has ever sang along before"
Anyway, I talked with the Coast Guard Vet afterward and he had said that after the war they started an Am. Legion in his home town. They were asked to be honor guards for veteran's funerals but no one could play a bugle. So they sang it.
Dale has since passed on. But we still sing Taps at the Wreaths Across America ceremony every year in his Honor and in the Honor of all who have served.
That was a Hallmark moment Dale gave us that day.
This gals version of Il Silenzio is one too
