Yes, I'm a bonehead....

My Valkyrie I/S has sat in my garage since the 2012 Fall Color Ride. Approximately 2 years ago, I trailered it to a shop and had over $1200 work done to it, which included rebuilding the carbs with a Redeye kit, new float valves and new jets. Trailered it back home, put it in the garage, and it has sat again until now. Carbs messed up again. I've tried to get them flowing but it just won't work, so now I'm going to have the carbs done again and sell it asap. Do I need to buy the Redeye kit, float valves and jets again? Just some of them? Help me out...this Valkyrie storage is killing me!!!! Thanks!

I don't think you need to purchase anything else. Just take carbs out and clean them.

I know this is a HUGE debate........but if you may even THINK your bike is going to sit for over a year......DRAIN the carbs!!!
I don't care how much Stabil or whatever you have in there, DRAIN them!!!
