Woody's Fairings.  Glen is a long time Club member and Valk rider  cooldude

Do a search on that name, and you will find lots of reading material  Wink

Another option is the Memphis Shade batwing.  Not as fancy as the Woody's but less expensive.  Here's mine.  It comes in black and I covered mine with vinyl.  Had it about a year and no trouble.  The hardware allows for easy removal to clean around the headlight and forks--or you can run with out it if you want to "feel the wind."  I bought mine from Motorcycle Superstore.

Mount kit 244973--$149.50
Batwing--$299.95
12" windshield 255932--$84.95
Trim Ring 339828--$49.95
Total  $585.35

I also bought a set of the lower wind deflectors not shown in the photo, that have to be modified (cut) to go around the turn signals.  On the web site they are shown as not recommended.

Plus 1 on the Memphis shade. It was on my bike when I bought it. I like it.

I second the Woody's fairing, and I have a Memphis shades on mine now.

Reason;
With the Memphis shade I needed to  relocate the speedo and tach or the mounts they supplied would hit them.
I have been through numerous windshields, and I can not get one that does not create buffeting for the passenger.
If I go to a longer shield, it lays back way to far toward me, ,I even tried the euroflip, and it helped, but not enough.
My Memphis developed a small crack on the outside edge right where the mounting trim is located, unknown why.

Yes the Memphis is cheaper, but Woody's is not that much more, and if you look at Woody's website, you will see that there is a lot of room ahead of the instruments, enough to mound a radio at a later date if you wish. I will be selling my Memphis soon, I'll make you a heck of a deal if you want to try it out.

Woody had something (a lot?) to do with the old Valkyrie specific
Hoppe fairings. I think they were awesome, I felt lucky to get one and
never thought I'd part with it... but I ran without it after a couple of years
while fiddling with some Cobra lights, and found out I liked the ride
better without the extra 20 lbs of fiberglass sitting up there...

No need to convert an HD batwing. Anything with an HD logo on it will be priced to cover the cost of the gold they hid in the unit somewhere. Memphis Shades has one for the Valk and it works pretty darn well. Had one on my bike when I bought it and didn't want to relocate the gauges so I went back to a stock tourer windshield. Works pretty good on my niece's Shadow 750 now.

Memphis Shades for me.  Slips right on and off, I didn't have to relocate anything and I like the look.

Love it.  My only wish would be a taller windshield option, 12" is too short, I get too much wind in my face.

Houdini--I know what you mean.  I put a washer under the bolt holding the bracket onto the shield on each side to stand everything more upright.  Not visibly noticeable, but gets the wind over my head.  I had to experiment with 1,2 and 3 washers finally settling on 1.  It only takes a little movement at the location of the top bolt to move the top of the shield about an inch forward.  Had mine on for about a year now with no trouble.  Still plenty of threads with only one washer.  Easy to experiment with more washers, but I went just far enough to get the air over top.

Meathead--that Woody's looks great.  Certainly is a top shelf solution.

The beauty is you have as many options. I personally went the HD route, aftermarket  inner fairing and  used outer fairing about $300 total including Memphis Shades clamps and speedometer cable extension. For a few years I used the stock gauges in the Harley holes, but now have Speedhut gauges including fuel, gps speedometer, volt and water temp. Only use the speakers is when cleaning the bike, so if I had to do it again I probably would not worry about an amp or speakers.

Buddies call it a Harlonda Electra Glob though I prefer Electra Valk. Whatever, I am happy.

Brilliant, I'm going to tinker with that idea tonight.

Thanks!

Houdini
Check out Longride Shields
https://www.longrideshields.com/product_p/lrs-ultra-ms.htm

They've got 14" tall Memphis shade shields on for $41 each
I've got a couple and really like them with my batwing

The lowers are a Hondaline accessory that are difficult to find, the dragon covers were made (or supplied) by Valkyrie Bling and More, who are long out of business.   Watch the classifieds and eBay and be prepared to pull the trigger quick if you see them because they generally go fast when they are listed.  Good luck!

Memphis shades has lowers for the batwing, but the turn signals interfere.  I had to trim them to fit around the turn signals.  They come down a little lower than Gabriel's.
