Listened to some high-powered prognosticators talking on the radio this morning about winter weather in the US this year. There's supposed to be a LOT of snow early and often in the north east. The south will be cooler and wetter than usual.

Wow that is a beautiful part of the county, my inlaws live just a few miles to the east close to Colchester.

The wooly worms I've been seeing are predicting a severe start to winter here in western NC, followed by a long mild spell and ending with a short term of severe. I trust the wooly worms more than the weather heads.
