I finished the install yesterday, had 2 bolts & 2 screws missing behind the fairing when I took it off. They are "BRIGHT"... I did the speakers too but the amp will have to wait till next weekend, but they sound great already.

Now if you could only find a set of pod lights and install LED's in there. You'd look like a 747 on approach.

John, I'm Working on just that look. My next mod is the turn signal driving light combo. White driving light on and then shuts off when yellow turn signal is applied. Took it out tonight and I had to turn down the low beams, I was getting flashed by cager's. LOL I set the low beams to 30' and high beams go to infinity.

My night pic's are on the general board, but the pictures don't do them justice. I lowered the low beams to about 30' out. I built them to be adjustable like the stock lights utilizing the same 3 axis adjusters. I had the bike ideling for 20 minutes to see if they might blow the fuse and feeling the lens to see how warm it got. The interstate has a 15 amp fuse for the headlights instead of the 10 amp on standards and tourers. They actually run cooler than the stock hologen bulbs.

I will try to post pics to convert the lights. I have all the pics from step one to final assembly. A quick run down of the steps, and by no means the instructions. Its a bit complicated to fabricate the brackets that hold the Road Glide head light assembly. It took me a couple of weeks of trial and error and many prototypes made out of Cardboard and crazy glue to stiffen it up. The final brackets are aluminium. You have to separate the lens from the interstate assembly. Remove the reflectors. You will have to trim some of the fins on the back side of the H/D lights, to get the brackets to sit flush and level. Install the old hardware from the I/S reflectors to the new brackets and fasten down using lock nuts. After all pre installation is done, then you will remove the clear lens from the H/D lights to keep any fingerprints or smudges to a minimum. Reinstall the lens to the I/S light assembly. These are not the instructions but some of the steps I went thru to make them fit and be adjustable too. I would suggest purchasing a spare I/S light assembly so you can take your time and unwind any frustrations you will develop.

They look great, dealing with my fairing when I get back. I just wanted to get the rear driveline all done, that was my concern. U may be very busy doing installs for all the people that are going to want that done. Answered your PM Thanks
