cooldude Very cool, thanks for sharing, l spent quite a few years out west and a lot of Colorado trips. Swimming in the glacier lakes is very refreshing and unforgettable, not sure I would do it today but as a much younger man and some adult beverages anything is or was possible. Great to see everyone enjoying Colorado, great memories.
Ride safe

Leaving Aspen soon,  Cry   KSU @ 9a, destination, Ouray for two nights.  It was a fun town and we were watching the big money peeps and how they dress/act.  Looking into a guided Jeep tour up Yankee Boy basin for tomorrow. After that Crested Butte two nights and then back to ground 0 - Buena Vista.

Thanks for the photo tour.  A picture or two looked familiar.  Did y'all go to Twin Lakes just North of Buena Vista?  There was a Bureau of Land Management Campground there.  You just put your money in an envelope and drop it in the box to stay there.  I thought that was neat.  We were there in 2006 and I think it was Snowy Peaks Campground.  There was a couple in the spot next to us and they stayed there the whole summer and he went to Twin Lakes every week to catch fish for their supper/dinner.  Another couple from Kansas brought their trailer loaded with 4 wheelers so they could tour the mountain trails.  Even had a spare just in case for people in the park that might want to go with them.

We did, it was on the way to Aspen that we stopped. Liz got plenty of pics there.  We head to Telluride this morning and then onto Durango later today then the Million Dollar highway the following day, hoping for this perfect weather to continue.    cooldude
