Got my windshield in and found the instructions are pretty much non existent.  Can somebody help me out here?

I should have taken individual photos of these.  For identification purposes lets refer to the bolts top row left to right as "A" and "B" and lower row left to right as "C" and "D".  It's hard to tell here, but "B" is a 5 mm hex head, "C" is a 3 mm hex head with flange,  and "A" and "D" take a flat head screwdriver but they have two slots at right angles to each other.  "A" bolts are shorter than "D" bolts. The six nuts fit "A", "B", and "D".  The two washers will fit on either "A", "B", or "D".

It's pretty obvious where these go.  The only question I have is do I use the existing bolts to hold them in at the bottom?

No questions about these except which bolts  do I use to hold these together?

The "washers" here, which side faces toward the handlebar and which bolts do I use to hold them? I am guessing that bolt pressure squeezes these against the rods leading to the top end of the windshield and keeps them from moving.

How are these used?  Six seems an unusual number.

Let's refer to these as "E".

And these as "F".

"G".

"H".

"I".

"J".

I think I've seen your pics.  They were good close-ups but you can't really tell the order all these rubber pieces go.

Okay, I emailed Secdem but they basically sent me what I already have.  The main problem with their guide is that they have a parts list but don't show the parts they refer to except in poor photos on the bike.

Another problem is the number of parts don't seem to match what I received and some appear to be missing.

Ledeny - can you please give better translations of these part numbers than google translate does, and also relate them to the parts in my photos, using my lettering.

1) Washer rubber 24 x 6 x 3 (2)

2) Screw poelier 6 x 20 (2)

3) Screw poelier 6 x 30 (2)

4) TCHC 6 x 30 screws (2)

5) Collar 08 + front + pastill (2)

6) Nut M6 ZB (Cool

7) Washer M6 ZB (2)

Cool Cache live American (4)

9) Screw TBHC 5 x 30 wide head ZB (2)

10) Room No 1 bis + washer (2)

12) Tip 08 (4)

13) Cover nut M6 (2)

14) Spacer nylon 5.2 x 10 x 8 (2)

@postoak, about your your pix :

#2 and the existing bolts : when I look at the lower bolts on the fork , it looks like it is the OEM bolts.

#3 : allen bolts

#4 : look at my 2nd pic (mind your neck though  Wink)

#5 : Yes, 4 should be enough !

#6 "E" : at the lower end of the "washers" (I lost them)

#7 : inner of the upper end of the "washers"

#8 : G & H :  ???

#10-11 : see my #4 : the rubber thing goes between the "washer" and the screen and the "J" caps hold the screw. Of course, it is really delicate not to brake it  crazy2 but it doesn't really matter.

Bonne chance !   Cool
