Polk Speaker Upgrade.

Hey all!
I upgraded my speakers on my Interstate using Mike Vernon's instructions on Photobucket. His pics and explanation made it super easy, almost fun. I used the Polk DB501 speakers. I think took me about 2-2 1/2 hours start to finish. The back ones are easily done by one guy, but I needed an extra set of hands to reinstall the fronts.
Sound is clearer, but not astoundingly so. I have to take the bike out on the road to see what I think under real world conditions..
Thank's to Mike Vernon for the great instructions, which you can find here:

will probably need to add an amp to get the volume you want. the stock head unit is only 25 watts. I can hear my polks fine at 100+ mph
not that i have ever tried

I just installed the db401 polks they are very nice and fits right in there. THey are 4 inch like factory. I may need an amp later on down the road. Just haven't had the time to play with it much since I installed them. It is hard for me to find time to play with my own stuff
