The first day out was a little warm.  118 in Las Vegas.  Big Mac, GrumpyGus, Nauti Brit, Donna (my wife, following in the cage) and I met up at Arizona Charley's. One-way Wayne and one other local Valkyrie rider (I am terrible remembering names, sorry) met us for dinner.  Day 2 we headed north on 15 trying to get out of the heat. Day 3, Nauti Britt led us through Nebo Loop out of Nephi, a great scenic 40 mile side trip.  Nauti Brit had a close encounter with an elk. Back on 15, up thru Salt Lake City and then more back roads.  Stopped in Soda Springs for dinner, a soak in the hot mineral water, and a good nights rest in an historical inn.  The next couple of days were spent traveling backroads, with a trip up along the Grand Tetons and a dip into Yellowstone park.  We even crossed the Bear Tooth Hwy, where Tim, a Valkyrie rider from Oklahoma, joined our group.
Inzane was great.  I never felt like an "outsider".  Everything was well organized. Self guided rides were good.  We did "Custer's Last Ride" and toured the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Park.
Big Mac had a rear wheel bearing go out.  Big BF was busy doing other repairs so he loaned us a jack and helped a little, and so we changed out the bearings ourselves.  A big thanks to Big BF.
Friday morning, with Inzane being over, we all headed out in separate directions.  Donna wanted to visit the Cody Museum, so we did.  Its a great museum and would take a full day to see all of it. They have a huge firearms exhibit. We spent the night in Cody.  In the morning we headed south and worked our way over to 191.  This turned out to be a great back road. Lots of sweepers and scenery all the way south thru Wyoming, Utah (Flaming Gorge), and into Arizona.  We stopped and took a quick tour of Monument Valley in the wife's cage.  We have been there before, but it is such a beautiful place.  Not recommended for Valkyries, as the dirt road is pretty rough.
I really enjoyed this trip, but after 15 days and 3200 miles, it good to be home.

It looked more like it was open season on George.  It was close.
