The weather outlook seems to be pretty good in the Citrus/Hernando/Pasco County area today. I am headed to the Speedway at SR 50 and Spring Lake Highway. I'll be there from about 9:30 to 10:30 with no particular destination in mind after.

Steve and I had a nice ride this morning, of about 50 miles, through Hernando and Pasco Counties. Too hot to stand around, but very pleasant while on the move. First time I have been out on 2 wheels since about 5 days after we came back from NC. Seems I wore the front tire out on the twisties in NC, and ended up putting 888 Metzelers on both ends. Went up in size from 180/65 B 1 to 200/60 R 16 on the Rear, and from 130/80 B 17 to 140/80 R 17 on the front. The speedometer agrees with the GPS with .5 MPH now, so this is a plus. However, I seem to have a slight wobble (NOWHERE near uncontrollable) at speeds above 65 MPH. Any Ideas????

Put a new e3 on the front of my black 2000 IS and had a slight wobble - took it back to Haps Honda - they put a second new one on and all was well.  But I like the Avons better now anyway.

Put an Avon cobra on the rear a couple on weeks ago and serviced the rear end, the old one had 13,xxx miles the front is also Avon Cobra it has over 17,000 miles and still good for at least 2,000 more. Next tire, I'm going to try Darkside on rear Smiley

It looks like my slight wobble was an easy fix. The rear tire was down 6# from Manufacturer's recommendation.
