Which ever GW covers you get off of a GL1500, you also need the bolts, as they are longer than the Valkyrie ones.

I like the one that says 6/1500 instead.

All you need to do is look on the fiche for the covers of each year, and see the style they offer.

I have a set on my 98. Search eBay for Goldwing 1500 valve covers or g w 1500 head covers there will be a few different flavors but that is how I found mine.

Also you must buy the bolts that are for this cover as it sticks out further than ours and our bolts are too short.

only 2000 covers were chromed from the factory, all others are lightly polished clear coated aluminum.
