Yes...and No...
You can not delete the original post in a thread if someone else has posted a reply. For that, you will have to ask a Moderator to remove the post or delete the post before someone replies to it. You can delete replies you made to someone else's thread.
To remove the post, open the thread, find your post, then click the Remove link in the upper right corner of your post.

Yep.... as the originator of the post above, YOU should be able to remove it or edit it, provided you are logged in. Look at your post above and to the right of the title you should see.... Quote Modify Remove. Hitting the remove tab should do it.

EDIT.... JoeValkIS is correct.... the first post can only be deleted by admin or a moderator. I tried to do it on an earlier post of mine.
