Installed the factory luggage rack on my bike last week and I really like it. I was surprised at how strong it is, its very solid, big, but not to big, the chrome is well done. Like all add on's before I install it not sure if its going to look good and the factory pics as well as my pics dont do it justice. The metal its made of is thick way thicker than I thought it would be. I thought it was going to be to gaudy before I put it on since it seemed too large, but its not at all.

Because of the chrome you notice it but it reflects all the surroundings so its not obtrusive to the looks. All in all a good add on since I plan to take a few trips and will need the extra storage space. Had to move my rear light down to the bottom of the seat since it was to high and not easily seen with the luggage rack. Will eventually make a small bracket out of stainless and polish it and mount that to the seat hold down. I thought the rack was expensive also before I received it since the brackets and the rack come out to about 300.00, but after looking at it and the quality of it I am happy I did this.

The fit with the Corbin seat is perfect. Just the correct positioning of the bracket and the seat.

I dont know lately the bike seems to be smoother and faster than ever. A few longer rides she just purrs along and seems to get into a rhythm on the road. I love listening to it as we go along and the pace gets a bit more even when we get out of traffic. That is when you start to just cruise along.

Robert, love that rack on your bike. I'm going to put the same rack on my black abs 2014. I'm seeing it for $319 on eBay with the attachment hardware and chrome bracket. Is this a good price? Where'd you get yours?

I bought mine at the dealer that I bought the bike from. He gave me a discount so it came out under 300.00 but not by much, so at 319.00 thats a pretty good price. I found aftermarket carriers or ones for other bikes but between the lack of a real price difference and maybe having a fit problem didn't seem worth it compared to the OEM quality and easy fit.

We will expect some pics also  Grin

I like the bag on there and you certainly dont have to worry about it going anywhere with how solid this is.

Pretty pricey, you can get a rack for old valkyrie for $70 bucks. Just ordered eBay rack, I'll post pics!

I use the River Road Sissy Bar bag on my Honda rack Robert.    Includes a rain cover.  Has held up nicely over long trips.  Has wide velcro straps that secure the bag tightly to your sissy bar.    Revzilla has it on clearance.

I thought so too but the brackets are half the price of the whole deal and any sturdy, chromed rear rack was around 125.00 and didnt seem to fit the lines of the bike as well.
