Hello, everyone. My question is for those who had adapter and lights installed. I'm in process of installation and one of the steps got me confused and now I need help Smiley
The installation guide for the adapter says: "Connect a yellow wire from the adapter to yellow on the lamp (left turn), green from the adaptor to yellow on the lamp (right turn), black to black." The problem is that the black on lights does not lead anywhere and I do not understand the point of connection to it.
Here is the picture: https://ibb.co/deB0mk
As you can see, each lamp has 5-inch addition which in fact has a black wire but it goes nowhere.
I called to admore and their team member was confused as well and suggested to add the black wire from adapter to black on the addition on any of the lamps. But what is the point if it does not go anywhere?
Could anyone who had the lamps installed clarify this part for me? Where should that black wire go?
I'm electrically challenged, so please forgive me this possibly stupid question.
Thank you.

If you give moonfer a pm I think he will have the answer since it was him who helped design it.

Is there a black coming out of both sides of the adapter?  If so, I believe it is a ground.  I was confused as well, but hooked them both up to the same wire.  It worked so I didn't question why they didn't make the connection internally.

Yes, it is ground and it is present on both wires. But the way it is present makes no difference if the black wire from adapter is attached to them or not Wink

Sorry, I misread the message, so you are saying that you connected both black wires from the adapter to motorcycle's ground or to those short black wires on lamps ?

I connected them both to the ground wire, same one or a different one, doesn't matter as long as it is to the ground.

Finally, I put everything together. It took a couple of days of concerns to make 8 posi-tap connections Wink. Black wire from adaptor that was in question stayed unconnected. I assume it is required if you want to add more turn signal lights. Everything works as expected. Thank you everyone for feedback.

Sorry I didn't get back until now. Yes the bla k wire is a ground and can be installed on a good ground point anywhere on the bike.
