Sorry I have been quiet for the last 45 days or so

Been working pretty much all of them about 12 to 14 hours each day.   Finally released two software releases to Verizon and Bell Canada this past week and got a day off on Friday.  Of course Verizon installs an older release on Friday night and our tech support is like three blind mice so I get called at 12:30.  My boss calls me as he is the next in line for support but he is totally hammered and can barely talk.

I was already up.  Had the smoker going with 16lbs of brisket in it later to be followed by 14lbs of baby backs yesterday morning.  So I spent the beginning of my birthday working a problem and tending a smoker at the same time. 

I had just a tiny bit of the meat but I wanted to get it out of the freezer.   Got the results for my blood tests and all was good.  HDL of 63, TRI of 75, LDL of 50 and total cholesterol of 128.  My LDL was 131 before the I started on diet and atorvastatin.   So it looks like the combination is working good!  Also lost 15 lbs.  I start cardiac rehab tomorrow morning 3 times a week for 8 weeks.

I'm obviously missing something here... all these guys on the board said that you didn't have a heart, and now you're having cardiac rehab three times a week? Those are great numbers, didn't know you were having issues, but glad to see you are being well taken care of... Do you need for me to have a visit with your boss & show him the error of his ways? Just a kind thought from a sweet little old lady...

I need to keep working for what crappy insurance that we now have since Affordable Health Care Act went in.   The rehab is $485/visit 3 times a week and I get to pay a 20% copay of that.  I do get a 25% discount for paying in advance.   Sweet deal.   Not.
