I've never been much on ridin' with the radio on ( I like to hear the bike ) but back in the summer I was crossing The Cherohala Skyline and Foghat " Drivin' Wheel " came on I cranked it up and let the fat girl roll ....That moment has crossed my mind so many times after that it was like the pegs hittin' the pavement was in tune with the song.Rest in peace Lonesome Dave ( He died just a few months after this video ) ...Foghat one of the best boogie rock bands to ever pick up a guitar

This is kind of my own anthem, country boys are and will be the glue that holds this country together.

Foghat! One of my all time favorites. Seen them the first time in '74. KISS was the opening act. This was also the first tour of KISS. Wasn't until 2003 (I think) before I seen Foghat again. I always thought KISS was the loudest band to see live...seen them 6-7 times...until seeing Foghat again. I think my ears rang for 3 days. Joe, did you know that 3 members of Foghat were in Savoy Brown? They left in '67 and formed Foghat in '68. Guitarist "Lonesome" Dave Peverett, bassist Tony Stevens, and drummer Roger Earl were the one's who formed Foghat. Here's a gem from 1974

[aeva] This is kind of my own anthem, country boys are and will be the glue that holds this country together. A Country Boy Can Survive[/aeva] Yeah, I'm more of a rock/blues fan for the most part but like they say "that's a song about me".
