Throwing this out there as some humor, but also a "well look at that.."

While sitting in the lawn chair by the bike and looking at how frickn far I have to go to get my STD together, and killing a few, I noticed that the black frame areas was quite dusty/dirty. - Just on an impulse within reach was a container of Armor All Leather wipes, and I grabbed one of the wipes and started cleaning with that.

Well.... dayummm.... It does a great job.  I did some more today, and I think I found good way to clean up black frame stuff.  -- Sometimes the best discoverys are made while drunk..lol..  Grin

My experience with Armor-All is that if you don't wipe it off real good, it stays greasy and attracts a lot of dust and crud.   It also helped the sun crack your old dashboards.

Re. heavy drinking, we had a guy in our squadron that had gone through tech school while mostly under the influence or hungover. Strangely enough, if stone cold sober he couldn't zip his fly without trouble. But if he was on the edge of doing a face plant in the snow, that guy could do wonders with the systems on the a/c that he worked on. I guess it's as he told me one time...."I learned it while drunk, don't remember any other way." Also had one wandering eye that rolled all over the place when sober, but when half pie-eyed it was steady as a rock. You never knew which eye to look at when talking to him and he knew it, so he'd just tell you...rather loudly...."just talk to my head." One thing they wouldn't let him do was drive on the flight line....wonder why?!   Grin
