WOW.....it worked!

To that end, I am amazed as to the quantity (or lack thereof) of grease in a new sealed ball bearing.....
This is supposed to last a life time......a bearing just like this has been running in my front wheel for 110K miles.....so I guess its enough.  Just doesn't seem right!

I'm surprised it's clear grease. Silicon maybe? I would have suspected a non-see through type.

I'm pretty sure I have read that if you "pack" it with grease it can cause it to heat up.  That looks like enough to keep metal off of metal.  However it does look minimal, I agree.

Speaking as a millwright, too much is worse than not enough.  It will blow out the seals and lead to faster wear.  Looks good to me
