I am looking for the company that makes a gas tank bib for the Interstate that covers the gas cap.  I bought one several years ago, but can't recall the manufacturers name.   Thanks

Check with Heritage Saddlebags. Nice product and nice people to deal with. They gave me a discount for being a VRCC member. Their web site (heritagesaddlebag.com) says they are restructuring due to the economical crunch, but they provide an email adress. Maybe you can still get them... Might be worth a try.

That reflection sucks doesn't it??? I was at a nearby Honda shop, fairly old dealer, they had a big box in the floor with a bunch of discontinued accessories. Found an Iron Horse tank bib for an I/S and a luggage rack that was made for a late 80's wing that fit my I/s perfect. Got both for $40.00 each cooldude Went to local Walmart fabric section and picked up a piece of fake leather for about 4 bucks, cut a pattern to cover gas cap and used velcro to attach. Cool No more glare from tank...I don't think i'll win any bike shows with it but it sure serves its purpose.

I have a guy who does leather work said he could build me a cover pretty easily but I haven't gotten back to him with a follow-up yet. It would not be a whole bib just a cover for the cap.

I used a combination of Hopnel bibs. Works great and easy access to fuel cap.  Wink
