Hello everyone,

I have received requests to add photos of my custom Valkyrie from about 2 years ago. I finally got around to it. Use the link below to see the album. The bike is for sale, but wanted to share some photos in case it sells and is with a new owner. I remember some of you had question about re-creating the fairing, if anyone else has any questions about the work done feel free to ask.

Thanks,
Matt

Just stunning. Well done, sir cooldude Everything looks perfect, even the handlebar risers match the angles of the fairing. Paint scheme is one of a kind, striking.

I posted it on cycle-trader the other night for $8k but have a decent amount of wiggle room. I am a motivated seller and open to offers. I am kind of basing the value off the interest I get in it over the next few weeks. I would like to have it sold by March, with that being said I will sell it for what I am offered by then.

Very, very nice work, all around.   cooldude

Careful what you say, your best buyer's audience is right here.

PS, if you can wait to March, you might wait till Spring.... which is almost always the best time to sell price (demand) wise.

I could probably hold out longer than March,  but the plan is to get a 2018 goldwing and There's only space for 1 big cruiser in my garage. If I had the space,  I'd likely own both. Depends how long I can hold off on buying the new goldwing, but from what I've heard it's going to be a game changer. Should have them on dealer floors in a few weeks. Can't wait to check them out.

This is my first post here on the VRCC forums. Just wanted to say that you have a beautiful Valkyrie, and I hope you do well with the sale. Well done.

Thanks, I appreciate the kind words. Lots of time and $ into this thing but I have definitely had my fun with it. I look at it as money well spent. I am confident someone else will enjoy this bike for years to come.

Even though it's Honda, waiting for (at least) 6-10 months of sales and operation may reveal a glitch or recall or two (before you buy).

It's been known to happen.

I think it's very unlikely the new Wings could be cut short on production like the B and C.

Thanks G-Man. You may not remember, but I have ridden with you and Oss before on this very bike. It was several years ago and the bike was still black at the time. It was the Pow wow in Stormville, NY (link below).

Beautiful Job but I may have strayed away from the "kinda" HD colour scheme......Excellent work either way!

I typically like the HD colors and style, truthfully I think they look nicer than many metric bikes. Its mostly everything else i cant stand about them.

In the front they are wrapped around the forks. Those white lights serve as running and blinkers lights. When you turn on the blinkers they turn amber and flash. Very bright and visible.

In the rear they are part of the lights at the bottom of the bags. Those lights serve as run/brake/turn. Also very bright and visible.

I like that both front and rear are LED and still very visible when in use, but not protruding off the bike.

Very nice indeed. I really like the dash, and the colour scheme...if I ever re-paint mine it will have Copper in the scheme. Computer screen resolutions are all different...I'm assuming this is a Copper colour? I have a cousin with a '49 Merc PU painted "Copper Penny".
The front signals are unique, never seen that before...wonder how they look from an oncoming traffic perspective. Excellent job, thanks for posting  cooldude

Yes,  the color is copper. There is also copper flake in the black. It shows best in the sun.

The front and rear blinkers are from custom dynamics. They make quality products. I like them allot.  They are very bright and noticeable from the front. Definitely brighter and arguably more noticeable then stock due to the constant white running lights and that there  bright LED'S.

I like it!  cooldude

Do you have the info for the copper paint?

I really like that color.

I'm converting an Interstate to a SuperValk that will be Black and Copper someday.

I used to have the info on it, but it got lost when I moved from NY to Texas. Sorry about that.

Ditto...if I ever tire of my R&B and wish to paint my Interstate it will be Copper/Black. This is my cousin's Merc. The colour is called "Copper Penny" and looks even more outstanding in person. I can get the paint code if you wish.

Great looking truck. Hopefully with a 2018 Goldwing I will never have the need to paint a motorcycle again, so no need for the paint code anymore.

Sure thing!

I had no idea that there were so many different shades of copper.  Embarrassed
