Down here in good old Missouri we don't have many of those 20 below zero days. So if it's above 20 degrees I ride. That keeps the costs to winterize a bare minimum. I prefer the cooler weather but way up north man it's just flat out cold.

An Excellent piece of advice!!! this really is a problem if you've ever expierenced a plugged exhaust system!!

I winterized mine Fri , installed the National City Smoke tinted wind deflecters on infront of my hand grips, plugged in the Gerbing jacket liner and gloves. Checked good .Thought I might need them for my ride to Hannibal Mo. Sat. With temps in the 70s I didn't need them yet. But I live in the woods and have a atv and a lawn tractor the mice played hell with last winter. I screwed some sreen in the intake and exhaust on both of them last spring. Not window screen, it had mesh about 1/4 inch. Its worked so far.
