Very nice and neat conversion set up.
I like those pins, they come in very handy as removable hinges.

Looks good Chris.  Of course there isn't a smudge anywhere on the chrome.  If you can find one of Lamont's chrome pieces for the replacement on the sissy bar in my opinion the look better as they are thicker and follow the lines better.  Maybe Pappy will take a picture of the one on Lesa's bike to show what I mean.

Thanks guys. I've never seen that Lamont part.  But as been said you are almost never "done"

I may get out for a short ride this afternoon if the ice melts!

Here the part is on my 97 from way back when.  This was before the Rocket III came on the scene.

Very nice piece!  And it's strange, I have never seen one before. Is it that rare?

Probably is now as Lamont Bryden VRCC #1 that started the VRCC with Oz designed several items that were sold through Hal at Honda Directline.  They were made for a short time back in the early 2000's.  What I liked about them was that they seemed to follow the lines of the attachment points for the sissy bar and where they attach with the 2 bolts each side was recessed to make the lines flow well.  Lamont's parts used to have Lamonster as the first word as in Lamonster bar or Lamonster trigger wheel.  Anyway, not saying that what you did doesn't look good, just offering an alternative if you could find one that looks good also.
