If you are you going to mount it yourself, take video please so I can see what I need to do. I've pretty much never done anything more complicated than oil changes and need to learn all that's involved, thanks.

I have mounted CT on my 99 Valk but I found a guy that will remove nd replace for 25 bucks. That will help save my shoulder.

I feel cheated...somehow. You better at least give a ride report.

Received the tire yesterday and impressed with looks and specs. 6 Ply tread (2 steel, 2 poly and 2 nylon) 10/32s with plenty of water grooves around and across the tire to shed water away. Load rating is significantly greater than bike tires in that size. Firm sidewall, 2 ply poly. (feels firmer than the Austone Taxi Tire but the sidewall is shorter on this tire so it will be more like the sidewall on the bike tires as far as flex goes). Max PSI is 50 with a 1250 load rating.
Specs and Reviews on this tire that I have read are very favorable. Looking forward to wearing the other one down and trying this one out.

Mounted the new CT on the bike today..... I can hardly wait for some warmer weather (at least no snow) to get out and give it a test ride. I did notice there were no weights on the rear wheel and the tire shop could not balance the rear because he did not have adapters to fit it. But....I will use Ride On as I normally do.
More to follow when I get out for a ride.

Took a brief 10 miles ride yesterday in the mi 20 temps with snow flurries. Wind chill limited the riding time. Tire appeared to ride well, no rubs or big rear steer issues. I did lock up rear wheel in some road grit to see how it would handle and it stayed upright and straight. Great acceleration and braking. Turns seemed pretty good, but I was being cautious and it was damn cold out. Top speed due to wind chill issues was 60 and it was good. Obviously more riding will occur today when it warms up a bit and I get out.....

Rear Tire pressure 42, Front tire Avon Cobra 120 (not 130). Air Temps about 50ish Had it out for about 35 miles or so today. Top speed today was 85/90ish , due to traffic and wind temps. Slow speed parking lot handling seems fine. It does provide some rear feedback in a truck rut when coming up to a stop light but just a little more than a bike tire I think. Its a keeper for me so far. Oh and I have yet to put ride on it and it seems ok.

I would love to try a CT on my bike. Unfortunately, my insurance broker specifically mentioned to me that the insurance company I am with will not insure bikes with a CT on them. He didn't know why specifically, but said that it is in the insurance policy. Maybe they had too many claims at one time and guys were running CT. That's the only explanation I could see. Everyone who has them on seem to love them.

I had a CT on my bobber, 205/50 and loved it. It was my daily and being in Mesa AZ I can and did ride every day. When I got the KTM, the Valk was no longer my daily and I would go pretty long stretches between rides and it got to where every time I rode the Valk it was like the first day with the car tire...I had my 200 Avon put back on yesterday.

Well whichever tire you ride is fine by me. I have a CT on my legacy Valkyrie IS and this new one now and it's all good so far. I did swap out rides yesterday briefly with another 1800 Valkyrie rider and he didn't seem to have any issues or complaints. My 120 front tire makes it steer and turn much quicker and easier than his stock 130 size. I don't think the new CT had impact on that. It's all just a road test until this one wears out I guess LOL. So far it is doing well and I like it.
