Title: Anyone with a link to good quality nuts/bolts?
Post by: _Sheffjs_ on May 28, 2018, 12:30:19 PM
My friend in Sweden goes to the local hardware store and doesn’t have to look at 1/4 20s ! Only metric, gosh that would be nice as I’m sure I have standard stuff mixed in with my metric. Anyway my projects are eating metric nuts and bolts and my supply is getting depleted. I would like a place that sells an assortment of mostly 6s, 8s and 10s and in one kit.  Anyone, where are you getting your stuff ?

I was just here Friday for work purchasing aviation specialty avionics allan screws. I needed 20, they gave them to me no charge I have know idea why? Both are highly rated with professional employees.

In a pinch Lowes has a good selection of metric stuff. - Watch what grade you buy for a specific job.

Fastenal.com

there is a local fastenal place and I found some special bolts they had to order, needed for my hwy. peg clamps no one else had.  However,  they buy in bulk so had to buy a few more than I needed which was 8, but still not bad priced and only charged me 1-2 bucks for shipping although that was enough since am sure 12 or so mini-bolts were like 3-4 ounces is all.  They told me usually they do not allow just say 12 bolts, etc. but 100's which sort of sucks.
