Title: Kids today......
Post by: Dan-bury on August 13, 2019, 11:06:39 AM
Some of you know my shop but may not know the road I am on has three schools and I am between two of them, so I see many young kids walk and ride bicycles past.

Well today a young kid that I have seen go by in the past stopped in and asked if he could bother me for air for his bikes front tire. As I was talking with the boy (maybe 13 or 14 yrs old) one of my customers stopped in to ask about his mower. The customer is in his 80s and is always wearing his Navy Hat.
The boy stopped talking as the older customer walked up and when the older man and I were finished talking and he turned to walk back to his car the boy looked straight towards the old Navy man and said   "Thank you for your service sir"

It sure was good to see a respectful young boy that is obviously being raised well...

Not a joke or story from the internet.  All true folks. 8/13/19 Dan-bury
