Title: Ignition on wire Post by: Whitey on March 18, 2020, 02:05:04 PM Hey guys just wondering if any of you have ever spliced into the ignition on wire for a accessory? If so have you had any problems? Thanks!

Title: Re: Ignition on wire Post by: Paladin528 on March 19, 2020, 10:32:10 AM there is a spare connection on the Start relay. you need the correct connector to add a wire it but is is a good place to grab power from if needed.
I needed ACC power to trigger my amplifier when the ignition was switched to ACC. I used the +12V power lead that is meant for the CB from the connector under the right side cover. Worked like a charm Title: Re: Ignition on wire Post by: RonW on March 19, 2020, 11:58:21 AM That is so brilliant!!

Is the acc plug on all bikes, I thought it was the IS only? (I've only had an IS) Title: Re: Ignition on wire Post by: The emperor has no clothes on March 19, 2020, 05:53:19 PM There is an accessory plug under the right cover.
