how many miles on the air cleaner?    unless u are riding on dirt roads and/or dusty windy conditions all of the time air fiters in all vehicles last longer than 12k miles.

I agree, I pull it almost every year and as long as I can see light thru it...it stays...this year is a lot less light....I think it is about 5 yo at this point

I did an airflow test with a dirty looking 24k mile filter vs a brand new one. I have a spare air box,  there was zero difference in flow.

per SAE tests an airfilter actually filters better when it is dirty looking than when new.
are your plugs showing carbon buildup? has your mpg gone down unexpectively?
if both No, then the air filter is ok. The OEM filter is a synthetic blend, which Honda has been using for yrs.

Good to know...and as I have expected. I was only going to change it out bc I was in changing vac lines and had it out already.
