Title: question about ignition switch wiring
Post by: shadowmagic on February 07, 2021, 01:41:49 PM
So the plug and play switch I bought seems to be a little different. Any advice on how I should go about this. I took a couple of pictures to show the difference. As always, any help greatly appreciated. The red one is the new one.

Match each wire to its mate with the wiring diagram and then move the brass thinggys. You can use an ice pick to release the brass spring tooth thing and then it pulls right out

Standard/ tourer models are different than interstates. Did you get the right one?  Interstate has acc. When turned backwards. Could account for different wires.
