Title: midlife celebration Post by: TXFireman07b on January 05, 2010, 07:46:25 PM This june I will celebrate my midlife BirthdayThe big 50. I am going to try and plan a long road trip so that I can ride in as many of the Western states that I can get in in 3 weeks... What I am thinking of doing is getting a trailer to haul the Dragon in so that i dont get all the tedious <travel> miles on the bike but I will get to ride the <fun> miles on it.. I want to trailer it so I can stay at parks and such then take Day tours in the most enjoyable riding areas.. I dont have anyone currently to go with me, so if there are other riders that would like to join up for fun rides, let me know. I plan on trying to get the time off around the end of May and first of June. Also anyone who has suggestions for rides get back with me. I would like to include Yosemite, Grand canyon, Pac coast Hiway and yellowstone. I am looking forward to it and the possibility of meeting some new friends in the process.

But ... er .. a.. I thought mid-life was 70 :o ? That's why I wasn't preparing for 'my' ride til 2012. I guess that wouldn't be very good since Nostrodamus and others say we won't be ridin Valks then :'( OR ANYTHING ELSE! Title: Re: midlife celebration Post by: TXFireman07b on January 07, 2010, 07:12:08 PM well I figure mid usually means the middle and since I dont know of anyone living to be 140 I will have to stick with my 50 as mid.... I am looking forward to it and I am looking forward to the possibility of finding others to meet up with and ride with..
