Title: New Shaver Post by: RP#62 on July 06, 2022, 05:01:35 PM OK, I'm watching a movie on TV the other day - middle of the day, and this commercial comes on. Maybe its just me getting old and I no longer have a grasp of what's appropriate, but I think I was still looking at the screen a couple of minutes after the commercial was over, jaw-dropped in disbelief. If their intent was to make an impression, it worked. Warning, may not be appropriate (as far as I can tell).

Oh, and there are other ways for those interested in the "outcome". Doesn't the Brittish (?) accent make it sophisticated?
Title: Re: New Shaver Post by: Serk on July 06, 2022, 06:21:26 PM I think this just became my 2nd favorite oddly inappropriate commercial of all time, only behind this one:

But I have seen a few in the last few years that made me wonder if I’m even in the same time continuum anymore. As Bob Dylan said, “The times they are a changin”. :o

Title: Re: New Shaver Post by: cookiedough on July 07, 2022, 05:19:58 AM they say shaving makes your JUNK look BIGGER. At my age and married, I could care less anymore.. ;D
I guess shaving for females is recommended when they are wearing those g-string bikinis that are very very narrow down there not covering up much at all. I still remember at a pool party in high school a HOT girl 1 year older than me came out in a normal swimsuit and I swear she had a set of _alls down there so much bush extending outward still inside her swimsuit. Title: Re: New Shaver Post by: Pappy! on July 09, 2022, 06:51:32 PM That was funny as hell. Yep....commercials are getting way out there for sure. There is also one featuring a bent carrot which is supposed to signify a bent ........ well, anyway supposedly there is now a cure.

Ya, that bent carrot commercial mentions ' penile fracture ' as a side effect. That doesn't interest me at all. There is also one featuring a bent carrot which is supposed to signify a bent ........ well, anyway supposedly there is now a cure. My brother who is a MD, says that the disease the bent carrot ad focuses on (Perigone's or some spelling) is extremely rare as it is anyway and most people with "bent carrots" don't need the medicine they're advertising and it will not help. I just wish they'd leave some things to the imagination and just call it a "personal shaver" or some sorts. Not prude, but it's just an overall decline in our society IMO. |
