Post by: vanavyman on August 26, 2022, 04:59:22 PM
Interesting Trike.  Lean in curves.  I have not seen the Trike. It is advertised on:

$16,500 USD   Brentwood, New Hampshire

Tilting Motor Works conversion with Tilt Lock. This is the only Tilting bike to still retain road lights. Low mileage (57000), Garaged, well kept. Has many upgrades, chrome, pinstriping, luggage bags for top box and side boxes. Powder coated wheels, heated grips (not working), Honda carpets in all boxes, lower windshield. All service has been done. All tires are very good. Battery is very good. The top shelter and lower cowl have been painted to match bike color ( illusion blue). This bike is being sold for less than the conversion cost.

Would definitely be an interesting first ride.......  I know the first time I rode a trike I kept trying to lean into the curves.  Guess I'd have to re-learn the three wheels techniques.

Always thought if I had to go to a Trike I'd want one of these.  Biggest issues with these is the cost.  Talking to them at Goldwing Rallies they have their Patent's setup right.  Don't see any copy cats.  They are expensive.  Do see some for sale so hard to tell how good they are.  Would be great if anyone had any experience with one to share.  Several guys have told me they can never go to a Trike because they could not give up leaning in the curves.  This type of Trike might help some especially in this price range.

Ya know, I thought the same thing prior to getting my trike.   Of course, I still try to lean into the curves even though it doesn't do much good.  ;)   But, I still have my two wheeler Valk so, the decision on which one I'm gonna ride really depends on what roads I'm taking.   Switching back and forth between two and three wheels takes a bit of adjustment.   But, I think I've got it down now.   I did say think.  :D

Can't speak with any knowledge or experience to this kind of a trike, way out of my budget.

It’s a neat looking bike, certainly an improvement over the original Honda 3 wheel trike that came out in the early ‘80’s. I can remember so many stories of bad accidents on those.

That is an interesting looking Trike.  Haven't seen one yet or heard of the company.  Like the idea of a smaller footprint Trike.

I used to see one zipping around the N GA mountains a couple of years ago,

Seems it's more a limited tilt than a spark showering lean.  I imagine attacking a corner too fast would not be advisable on these. Our two wheelers can lean hard to make up for the mistake.

I'd also like to hear from someone who has experience riding one in tight twisties.
