Title: I absolutely, positively do NOT need a new hobby, but..... (Non-Valk)

The LAST thing I need is a new hobby, but dang this is tempting, if they can get the injunction to stick of course (Being the law abiding person that I am)

"US ban on at-home distilling is unconstitutional, Texas judge rules"

Heh, would take a LOT Of home brew to make that palatable! HOT HOT HOT even by early June, and the closest thing we have to twisty mountain roads is the High Five, a 15 story freeway interchange...

WOW!!!!  That is one heck of an "interchange".

And an interesting ruling.  Sort of brings forward the notion of "freedom".

One of my best HS friends lived with his old mother, grandmother, and great aunt.  His mom wasn't ancient, but the other two were.

Anyway, these 3 ladies put up a tremendous amount of home made beer and wine every year.  (My underage buddy and I drank some on the sly and it was not good, and that was after you strained all the debris from each bottle).

Anyway, one year well into the fermentation stage, about 250 bottles all exploded in the basement at the same time.  The mess and stink was incredible.  I didn't visit over there for many months.   :2funny:

My dad drank some homemade hooch whiskey in the Marines, and was blinded for an hour or two.

I'm sticking with store bought.
